“It’s in his face that I saw my own weakness.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“I learned that kids bully early now. They lose the ability to talk about magic and want to instruct each other on how to play the computer game they favor most. But you know, he hasn’t gone through that yet. He’s still the king of his own creation. He’s still his own sort of Peter Pan. He still dreams of faeries.”

“Is that innocence a good thing? Or is it just naive?”

“I’d say it’s incredibly good. He’s capable of loving everyone that he sees. His knowledge is felt in a caress, a happiness that’s invincible. It’s just darling.”
